I’m Alexis Edwards, a sports photographer and content creator based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2026 with a degree in Multimedia Journalism, specializing in Sports Media.

During my four years with Virginia Tech Athletics, I worked my way up to Lead Intern of Photography, covering all 22 varsity sports and capturing everything from game-day action and championship moments to athlete portraits and behind-the-scenes stories. My experience taught me how to work quickly, adapt to different environments, and find the story in every frame.

I’m now continuing my career in sports media through NASCAR’s Content Academy, where I’m gaining experience on the production and content side of the industry while working with sports media assets and storytelling.

Outside of photography, I have experience in branding, social media and creative strategy through my time as Vice President of Marketing for Alpha Phi at Virginia Tech. I’m passionate about finding new ways to tell stories through photography, content and visual media.
