I’m Alexis Edwards, a senior at Virginia Tech studying Multimedia Journalism with a focus on photography and content creation. I’m based in Blacksburg, Virginia, where I work as the Lead Photography Intern for Virginia Tech Athletics. In this role, I get to capture the energy of Hokie sports and tell stories through game-day action, behind the scenes moments, and everything in between.

Outside of athletics, I’ve gained experience in branding and social media through my time as Vice President of Marketing for Alpha Phi Eta Omicron. That role taught me how to combine creativity with strategy, skills I now bring into my photography and content projects.

I’m graduating in May 2026 and excited to continue building a career where I can use my photography, storytelling, and creative skills to make an impact.
